In 2014, while pursuing my undergrad, I started a small indie studio called Mind Gown Software and built a prototype for a game I had been designing. By 2015 I had enough interest in the game from a fellow student to begin working on the full scale version of what would become Convicted Galaxy. Together we built Convicted Galaxy from the ground up, using very limited funds. Running a “Projects We Love” campaign on Kickstarter and eventually releasing the game in early access. The game is built in Unity in C# using Subversion as the version control system.
